Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur
February 12, 2019 in the National Library of Uzbekistan opened a book-illustrative exhibition on the theme “El Sukhbatiniki, orzu kilmishmen” (Thirst for Conversation with the People), dedicated to the 536th anniversary of a representative of the Uzbek classical literature, poet, historian, statesman and commander Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.
At the exhibition, users are presented with selected works by Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, as well as books about him describing his life and work. Also proposed works, gazelles, rubai in different languages of the world. Among the books at the exhibition, users may get acquainted with newspaper articles in different years of the celebration of the anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur published in Uzbekistan.
A worthy place at the exhibition undoubtedly take place “Baburname” in several languages (the history of the Babur dynasty during the reign of Babur). Events in this book were developed in different situations and conflicting decisions. All these events were connected in a single canvas with Babur himself-who was a witness and participant of it.) Many images of historical personalities (such as Temurids, military officials, scientists, culture and art representatives) were described in “Baburname”. His artistic language is simple, clear and widely available. He does not like loud phrases and complex expressions.
After more than five centuries, the teachings of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, his lyrical ghazals and rubai, works on ethics, philosophy, and military affairs are still relevant and in demand. His creations have stood the test of time and entered history as the heritage of world science and culture.
The exhibition also presents famous works about Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, written by Pirimkul Kadirov, Kamchibek Kenja, Rakhim Vakhidov, Abdurashid Abdugafurov and other writers.
