13.02.2019 The blue suitcase is back at school
On February 8, 2019, an exhibition of literature entitled “El netib topgay menikim ...” opened in the National Library of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the celebration of the 578th anniversary of the outstanding Uzbek poet and statesman Alisher Navoi. The exhibition presents the works of Alisher Navoi, published in different years, books telling about the life and work of the writer, the interpretation of his works, scientific books about his philosophical thinking.
At this exhibition, the users are presented with selected works, gazelles, rubai in different languages of the world, Alisher Navoi’s interpretations of his works, collections of his wise statements and aphorisms. The literary legacy of the famous poet that has come down to us is great and many-sided. These are more than 3000 poems, scientific works and poetic treatises that fully reveal the spiritual life in Central Asia of the late 15th century.
The exhibition also presents famous works about Alisher Navoi, written by Oybek, Maksud Shaikhzade and other writers at different times.
Visiting this exhibition, users familiarized themselves with all the editions of the famous «Khamsa», a collection of five poems based on the national epic and accepted to be considered the pinnacle of Navoi’s work and learned what books about the life and work of Alisher Navoi has the National Library of Uzbekistan.
