Award ceremony for the most active readers of the year took place at the National Library of Uzbekistan

On December 26, 2018, award ceremony of the most active readers of the year took place at the National Library of Uzbekistan. It was attended by manager of library services and library users.

The main purpose of the event is to familiarize users with the activities of the library, with the conditions created here, as well as to identify and promote the most active users.

The editor of the National Library of Uzbekistan J.Jovliev welcomed the participants of the event, noted the achievements of the library in 2018, spoke about the work carried out in the library aimed at popularizing reading and raising the reading culture, about the suppurted by the government to the development of the library sphere.

The most active users of the National Library of Uzbekistan were nominated in the following nominations: the most active reader of detective works, the most active reader of historical novels, the most active reader of fantastic works, the most frequent user of scientific databases, as well as the oldest active user and the youngest active user. The organizers analyzed the number of users and the resources in demand in the library. As a result, the winners were determined as follows:


    1. The Oldest Active User - Umarova Gulnora Haydarovna
    2. The most active user of foreign bases - Kakhorov Sardor Ilhom ogli
    3. The youngest active user is Nigmatov Shamsiddinkhon Shovkat ogli
    4. The most active reader of historical novels - Turaev Doston
    5. The most frequent user of scientific bases is Nurillo Rajabboev
    6. The most active reader of detective works - Abdullaev Azizkhon Mirza Ogli
    7. The most active reader of fantastic works - Khasanov Temur Mansurovich

     

     

All winners were awarded with memorable gifts from the National Library of Uzbekistan. As a gift they were given diplomas, books and a voucher, which gives them 10 hours of free using the library.

The users expressed their gratitude to the library staff and wished them good luck in the new year.
