On October 22, 2018, training seminars began on the National General Education Electronic Library project of the National Library of Uzbekistan and the LG-CNS. Specialists of 20 information and library institutions participating in the project take part in it.
The seminars are organized in parallel in three areas: software UzNEEL, scanning and digitization, as well as information and communication technologies.
At the UzNEEL software workshop held at the Republican Information Library Center, specialists are provided with theoretical and practical information about the principles of the UzNEEL program, the workstation and all the system modules developed for the electronic library project.
In the National Library of Uzbekistan, qualified specialists of the German company Microbox conduct theoretical and practical classes on the use of scanning devices, modern and latest digitization technologies, equipped with the “National General Education Electronic Library” project.
In the training on information and communication technology, engineers at Sharifa.com provide information about the NEEL system, system servers, types of operating systems, and databases. They also provide theoretical and practical information about clusters, about duplicating and restoring databases.
Seminars will last until October 26 of this year.
