The reading room “Ilm” of the National Library of Uzbekistan contains the obligatory copies of scientific works - dissertations, defended during the years of independence. Almost all scientific researchers visiting the library use these dissertations.
Every year, with the start of the new school year, the registration of users in the National Library of Uzbekistan sharply increases. 250-350 people are recorded daily. Usually 120-150 people were registered in the National Library. In order for freshmen to keep abreast of the latest news from the library, they are offered to subscribe to the telegram bot at @ natlib.uz. The total number of users of the National Library today is 235 035 people.

The Database of Rare Publications and Manuscripts has been developed in the National Library of Uzbekistan, in the interests of scholars of orientalists, historians and specialists studying the cultural and historical heritage, captured in manuscripts, lithographs and seals of past years.
